- Mobile Phone with GPS: given by his parents who were worried he might sleep just anywhere but is usually out of battery though
- Copy of his Classmates Notes: given by his worried classmates since he’s always sleeping and therefore can’t take down notes

Fun Facts:
- Jirou’s surname Akutagawa came from Akutagawa Ryuunosuke.
- Jirou is modeled after John McEnroe (an American player) especially the flexibility of his wrists.
- Konomi-sensei actually wanted Jirou to be more nihilistic but along the way, he became the character he is now, an easily excitable character.
- If he is to go to a buffet, he would go somewhere where there’s lamb and eat-all-you-can pocky.
- When asked what he thought of his captain, he said he realized how fun tennis is when he played Atobe.
- Contrary to popular belief, Yuushi isn’t Hyotei’s number 2 but is actually Jirou Konomi-sensei, though, thinks that he wasn’t able to prove this so he made Jirou win against Kabaji in the U-17 training camp.
