- Kin-chan has a pet dog names Kinjirou.
- He thinks of Kinjirou as his little brother and plays and races a lot with it.
- He found Kinjirou in the mountains and it followed him home.
- In the U-17 Camp, when Kin-chan wanted to get a flying balloon, Sanada let him ride on his shoulders so he can reach higher.
- He stole some tennis balls from the club and always carries them with him.
- He sleeps with tennis balls (the ones he stole) in his hands.’

- According to Kenya (in one of his arguements with Yuushi), the Yakuza are scared of Kin-chan.
