So I was taking a break from making GIF Sets and I was thinking about the Hyotei guys.
Knowing that Hyotei is a school for rich kids, I was wondering just what in the world are the occupations of their parents that allow them to enroll in such a school.
Through some research I found out that:
- Atobe’s father is a Company Executive (it’s the Atobe Zaibatsu afterall)
- Oshitari’s father is a University Hospital Doctor (the Oshitari side has always been doctors so Kenya’s dad is a doctor too)
- Gakuto’s father is an Electrical/Appliance Store Owner (he isn’t in good terms with his father though)
- Akutagawa’s father is a Laundry Shop Owner (he sometimes tends the store but falls asleep while doing so)
- Ootori’s father is a Lawyer (he’s probably another bocchama)
- Kabaji’s father is a Government Employee (but hello! he was able to send his child to a school in England so he’s probably of a high rank)
- Shishido’s father is an Elementary School Teacher (teacher’s aren’t always broke and Japan is actually 4th in the list of countries with best salaries for teachers)
- Hiyoshi’s father is an Old-Style Martial Arts Instructor (they probably manage a dojo or something too)
So yeah, most of the Hyotei guys’ parents are either businessmen or professionals so it’s only normal for them to be enrolled in such a school.
