You most certainly do not! I have friends from Venezuela and their accent is so cute, que a mí tú no me engañas chama.
(I think the Argentinian accent is the most plain of all, like, it’s tone is very steady and flat throughout sentences, unlike most of Latinamerica where they tend to raise the tone at the end of the sentence or have like a special almost-chanting way of talking… of course, to the one talking it doesn’t sound strange at all, so I get what you’re saying).
What are you talking about? Nena, que tenes canta’o nada de steady, Venezuelan accent (with a minor twist) is what they use on dubs, so is pretty neutral (at least Caracas accent XD).
But I get what you mean, argentinian accent is one of those that I can’t do XD is soooo hard for me XDD I need to practice more XD
(If you’re judging from that video I made… I talk way faster than that. I made all those ups and downs because -poorly executed- dramatic reading).
We could discuss this until sunrise, we all think we don’t have an accent and we all do. I’ve had lots of conversations about this very topic with people from all over the world and we all disagreed; the accent thing is right under the “we have the best food” debate, which is what makes it so funny to me.
Is quite funny actually, but even so I like argentinian accent XD and lots of accents.
We all sign the same song in different melodies XD and is hilarious and awesome, I love that we have so much variety, it’s funny when people from different countries reunite and we try to “neutralize” our slangs XD
in fact, it’s not the argentinian accent that’s plain, it’s the Buenos Aires city and its surroundings that have that accent. it’s called Porteño accent xD y sí, no tenemos tonadita y esas cosas xD *argentinian girls speakings*
